Madgie Inez WoodardFuneral service for Madgie Inez Woodard, 83, will be Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Valhermoso Holiness Church with Bro. Tim Patrick and Bro. Rusty Wilkerson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Valhermoso Holiness Church.

Mrs. Woodard passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at her daughter’s residence. She was born June 1, 1941, in Morgan County, to James Thomas Brown and Madgie Mae Barber Brown.

She was a member of the Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church and was employed by Automatic Electric as an assembly line worker, prior to her retirement. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Preceding her in death were her husband: Richard Woodard, her parents, one son: Charles A. Woodard, four brothers: Derrell, James H., Johnny, and Jackie Brown and a sister: Mary K. Ellenburg.

Survivors include:

Daughters- Delitha Madewell (Charles)
Audry Worley (Langston)

Sisters – Betty Faye Edwards
Frances Bonds
Virginia Raburn

Eight Grandchildren

Seven Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be James Woodard, Devin Madewell, Brandon Madewell, Juan Worley, Abel Worley and Dewayne Speegle.
