Mack Humbert, age 74, was born January 13, 1939 in Wayne County, TN. He passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. Mr. Humbert was retired from Murray Ohio after 45 years, a member of Salem Church of Christ and was a member of the National Guard from 1957-1966.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie E. and Martha Deliah Skelton Humbert; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Virginia A. Humbert of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Cathy Ann Boyd of Lawrenceburg, TN, one granddaughter Tammy Prince and husband David of Lawrenceburg, TN; and three great grandchildren, Kayla, Dominic, and Caden Prince of Lawrenceburg, TN. He is also survived by one brother Jack G. Humbert of Waynesboro, TN; and family friend Michael Webb of Lawrenceburg, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 19, 2013, with Keith Barnett officiating. Interment will follow at Deerfield Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
