Mack Evans of Pulaski passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Nashville. He was born in Nashville on December 6, 1942 and was 73 years of age.
He was a loving husband and a member of First United Methodist Church in Pulaski. Mack and wife Maurine had just celebrated their 52nd anniversary at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Pulaski. Mack grew up in Nashville and graduated from Hillsboro High School, he was a recording engineer and started working at WSM Radio in Nashville when he was 17 years old. He recorded the Grand Ole Opry shows every weekend for ten years and worked with artists like Chet Akins, Boots Randolph, Floyd Cramer, Scotty Moore just to mention a few. He started Masterfonics in 1972 and in 1985 he started Magnetic Technology. On June 2, 2014 Mack was awarded a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to Country Music.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, March 26th at 10:00am in Lynnwood Cemetery, Lynnville, Tn with Rev. Lee Stevenson officiating.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren McCleallan Evans, Sr. and Martha Dunnavant Evans.

Sister-in-law, Mauveline Wall of Franklin, TN
Nephew, Nelson Wall of FL
Several cousins and friends also survive.
