Mable G. Crafts age 87 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Crafts was born December 17, 1930 in Limestone County, AL to Robert McGuire and Melissa Adams McGuire.
Services will be Friday, June 15, 2018 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Jeff Woods officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Crafts; two sons, Wayne and Don Crafts.
Survived by two daughters, Darlene Blessie of Huntsville and Wanda Walker of Athens; one son, Derrick Crafts of Athens; nine grandchildren, Brandi Curry, Tommy Walker, Dylan Crafts, April Crafts, Candy Wise, Brittany Bailey, Ariel Blessie, Kenneth Thigpen and Donny Crafts; several great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Bobby McGuire of Athens; two sisters, Ruth Mitchell of Huntsville and Mildred Lambert of Athens; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Walker, Brian Curry, B.J. Curry, Fred Schrader, Dylan Crafts and Nathan Wise. Honorary pallbearer will be Donnie Crafts.
