Funeral services for Mrs. Mable Bledsoe Ethridge, age 84, are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, September 5, 2021 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Pafford Scotts Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Ethridge passed away on Thursday at her home in Reagan. She was born February 21, 1937 in Henderson County to the late Ezra Bledsoe and Zylphia Bledsoe Tate. She retired from Johnson Controls after 40 years and loved her family. She was their shining light. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Mr. Bill Ethridge; daughter, Cathy Brown; stepson, Billy Ray Ethridge, Jr.; step daughter, Carol Moody; two sisters, Mavine Russell and Maxine Flowers; six grandchildren, Christy Ethridge, Jason Ethridge, Jennifer Scott (Adam), Stephanie Richardson, Terry Moody, and Matthew Moody (Jennifer); and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, J B Bledsoe and two sisters, Nellie Stegall and Madge McEarl. The family will receive friends on Saturday 12 Noon – 9 PM and on Sunday 11 AM – 2 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.
