Mabel Sue Stutts Lansdell age 81, of Florence, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015. Visitation will be Sunday, February 22nd from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend John J. McKell officiating. Burial will be at Greenview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chance Calloway, Chris Nuby, John Carr, Greg Nuby Robbie Heinitz, and Nick Taylor. Sue was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Florence and was retired from McCorkles as an interior decorator and was a Certified Interior Decorator from Chicago School of Interior Design. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Dee Lansdell; parents, Okalene Nunn and Arlon Stutts; brother, Leon Stutts. Survivors are her children, Billie Sue Nuby (Glenn), Debra Carr, Cheryl Carlsen (Guy), and Angela Vinson (Jeremy); sister, Edna Moss; 9 grandchildren, Chris and Greg Nuby, John Carr, Deena Johnson, Chance Calloway, Ashley Potter, Audra Heinitz and 3 great-grandchildren. In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westminster Presby terian Church of Florence. The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Richards, Hospice of North Alabama and Ashley Davidson for their love and care.
