Mabel Elizabeth Burbank, 82, of Killen, AL, passed away November 14, 2012 after an extended illness. She was a housewife and a member of the Lexington United Methodist Church.

Son: David Burbank (Mary) of Huntsville, AL
Daughters: Gale Gist (Dale) of Greenhill, AL and Susan Burbank of Key West, FL
Grandchildren: Rory Gist, Kristen Gist, Sheenan Gray, Stephanie Schubert, Gemma Wade, and Christopher Wade
Great-grandchildren: Giovanni Cohea, Madalyn Alexander, and Erik Schubert
Mrs. Burbank was preceded in death by her parents William Andrew and Mary Alice Springer; her brothers Shuba and Rufus Springer; and her sisters Rosa Lee Walker and Getrude Gray.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel with Bro. Sam Hayes and Bro. Kenny Baskins officiating. Burial will be in Pettus Cemetery.
