Lynn Leigh Hester Dowdy, 77, of Florence, passed away March 16, 2024 at her residence. She was a school teacher for 37 years.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 2 p.m. in Pisgah Cemetery with Grant Azbell officiating.
Mrs. Dowdy was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Bertha Leigh Hester.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Dowdy; sons, Randy Dowdy (Laura), and Rusty Dowdy (Sydney); sister, Lanelle Miller; and grandchildren, Lilly Rose Dowdy, Mia Celeste Davis-Dowdy, and Emma Haller.
