Funeral service for Lynn Jared, 77, will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Chessier officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Private Burial to follow. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jared died on Friday, December 29, 2023 at her residence. She was born January 6, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, to Jack Kelley and Patricia A. Welles.
She was married to her husband, Michael R. Jared, for 59 years and they were blessed with two sons, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was a member of First Bible Church in Decatur and was a Head Start Teacher for children 0-3 years of age. She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents. and a brother, George Kelley.

Five Grandchildren – Katie, Michael, Haley, Grant and Gavin
Six Great Grandchildren – Ellie, Jayce, Stella, Sam, MJ and Jack.
