Lynn Brackin, 89, of Ripley passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at her residence. Visitation will begin at 12 PM Saturday at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley with funeral services to follow at 2 PM. Interment will be in Ripley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Brackin was a retired secretary for the Lauderdale County Extension Office. She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, and was also a 30-year member of the Friends of the Lauderdale County Library.
The widow of Lynnwood Brackin, she is survived by 2 daughters Kathryn Ables (Tony) and Mary Lynn Brackin both of Ripley; a son Bill Brackin of Memphis; a sister Laura Carmody of Millington; and a brother Steve Miller of Memphis. She was preceded in death by a son Mark Brackin and a brother Bert Dargie III.
