Lyle E. Green, 87 of Decatur, AL passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of the Cahaba Shriners and Flint Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 1-2:00 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Tony Latham officiating. Burial will be in Ryan Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Sue Latham Green; parents, James Oscar and Sarah Ann Pesnell Green; eleven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his son, Randall Green (Jennifer); daughter, Regina Light (Danny); brother, Gerald Martin and five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Huntsville Hospital Hospice for their loving care and support.
