Luther Ray Welch, 54, of Jasper, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016, at his residence.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Carbon Hill.
Mr. Welch was preceded in death by his stepfather, Edward Plunkett; mother, Betty Lou Tirey Plunkett; mother-in-law, Babe Johnson; father-in-law, Clarence Johnson; and grandparents, Harvey and Mae Key.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Johnson?Welch; stepdaughter, Miranda Massey; sisters, Cynthia Hosch, Wanda Self and her husband, Jim, and Sue Sawyer; brother, Roger Welch and his wife, Debra; and a host of nieces and nephews.
