Lura Mae Turner, 80 of Elkmont, passed away on Monday, June 7th, 2021, at her residence. Ms. Turner was born on July 24th, 1940 to James Arsey Turner and Ida Belle Furline Turner.
Ms. Turner is survived by her sisters Mildred Turner and Mary Sue Guthrie; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; and 7 brothers James Thomas Turner, Harry Clayton Turner, Guy Reed Turner, Jones Albert Turner, Arsey Lee Turner, Lewis Benton Turner, and Robert Frank Turner; and sister Nettie Evelyn Turner Stanford.
Funeral services for Ms. Turner will be Sunday, June 13th, 2021 at 3:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with James Turner officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-2:50pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery.
Ms. Tuner loved baking, sewing, flowers, and listening to gospel music.
