Lura Daniel, age 98 passed away Thursday, June 7th, 2018 at Countryside Nursing home. She was a member of New Life Freewill Baptist church and called Lawrence County home for 58 years.
She is preceded in death by her Husband of 60 years, Clice Daniel; Parents, Jim Taylor and Martha Bell Daniel; Daughter, Robbie Andrews; Brothers, Lester Daniel, Leslie Daniel, J.R. Daniel, Edward Daniel; Sisters, Lorene Moore, Dean Robertson, Barbara Moore.
Survivors include her Sons, Mitchell Daniel (Charlene), Jimmy Daniel (Beverly); Daughter, Rachel Daniel Bivens (Carl); Brother, Robert Daniel; Sisters, Earlene Gambrell, Lois Brewer; One Son-in-law, Glen Andrews 11 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 10th, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 11th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral chapel. Brothers John Blackwell and Billy Beal to officiate.
Interment will be at Kidd Cemetery.
