Lula Mae Fisher died March 24, 2013, at her residence surrounded by family. She retired from Mitchell Hollingsworth after 30 years of service. She was the last of her generation. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Mattie King, of Florence, and Barbara Boddie (Leamon), of Mobile Ala.; one son, Edward Minor Jr. (Phyllis), of Lima, Ohio.
Visitation will be Friday, 6-8 p.m., at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence, Ala.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church, Town Creek, Ala., with the Rev. Thomas Sparks, officiating.
Burial will follow in Red Bank Cemetery, Town Creek, Ala.
The body will be placed in the church one hour prior.
Public viewing will be Friday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., at the funeral home chapel.
Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence, is directing.
