Funeral services for Lula C. “Tobie” Brown, age 101 of Lineville will be held on Thursday April 18, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. Bennie Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph County Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Brown was born in Talladega County but had lived most of her life in Georgia and has lived in Clay County for over 30 years. Before her retirement she had worked as a seamstress at Bemiston in Talladega and also with G E Electric.
She is survived by nieces and nephew Glenn and Maxine Willoughby of Lineville and Janet Willoughby of Eastaboga and a small extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents Era L. Canada and Gaddie Vaughn Canada, one sister Iva Willoughby and a brother, Buster Carden.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Staff of Clay County Nursing Home
Visitation will take place on Wednesday April 17, 2024 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 5 to 7 P.M. and until service time on Thursday
