Luis Manuel Garcia Sr., 87, of Huntsville, AL passed away on November 12, 2024, in Huntsville.
Visitation will be held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:30am. Graveside service for immediate family will be conducted by Rev. Sarah DiCarlo-Watts at Midway Memorial Gardens, Moulton AL.
Luis was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Amede and Antolina Garcia on December 7, 1936. He served in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant and retired in 1974 and continued his career in civil service in the security police investigations at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida.
Luis is survived by his wife, Maria; his children, Diana (Raymond) Garcia, Luis (Laurie) Garcia, and Debbie Garcia Nowlin; his grandchildren, Brittanie (Kris) Koenemann, Blake (Haley) Temple, Carolina (George) Parker, Jackson (Macy) Nowlin, Matthew Nowlin, and Michael Garcia; his great-grandchildren, George, Carolina, Will and Miles; as well as many loving brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amede and Antolina.
