Graveside service for Lucy Mae Moses Winton age 83 of Somerville will be Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 2:00pm at New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Ron Manley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No Visitation is scheduled.
Ms. Winton, who was born January 22, 1940 in Lawrence County to Earl A. Moses and Mary Elizabeth Curbow Moses, died on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Winton.
She loved sewing, quilting and painting. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier after 28 years and enjoyed her cattle farm. She loved her family and always wanted to go and show support to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in whatever they were doing.
