A service to celebrate the life of Lucille Hill, 92, is scheduled for 11:00 am on Monday at McPeters Funeral Directors Chapel with burial to follow in Valley of the Dogwood Cemetery. A visitation with social distancing will be held Sunday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at McPeters. Mrs. Hill died on July 24, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Oxford, MS on November 20, 1927 to the late Dave and Obelia McMurry. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Jerusalem Church of Christ. She was a fabulous cook, loved to garden and enjoyed planning her next meal for her family. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Burton and Donna Null (Davey); son, Randy Hill (Patricia); grandchildren, Rhonda Burton, Matt Jones, Andy Hill (Millie), Brandy Rainwater (Bobby), Ryan Hill (Amy) and Tonya James (Josh) and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Hill; son, David Wayne Hill; brothers, Wink, Julius, and Clinton McMurry and sisters, Deany Davis, Blanch White and Qubelle Fowler. Bro.
