Lucille Garrett Sparks, 94, passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Southern Magnolia, Golden, MS. She was born in Paden, MS and was a lifelong resident of Tishomingo County, MS. She attended Belmont High School and was employed at Blue Bell, Inc., manufacturer of Wrangler jeans for many years. She also worked for Schnadig, Inc. until she retired at age seventy-three. Her first passion was cooking and spending time with her family. She was eager to tell everyone about her grands. Her second passion was yard sales. She had bargaining skills like no other. Her enjoyment of being with others fit perfectly with her new found passion. She never met a stranger. She was energized and found being inactive was not for her. Her family is blessed to have many funny “Mama Cille” stories to treasure. She was a member of Golden Central Baptist Church.
