Lucille Alexander, 74, of Corinth, MS passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024. She was born in Scotts Hill, TN on August 17, 1950 to the late Ethel Moody and Jimmie Smith and was a supervisor in housekeeping at Magnolia Regional Health Center for several years. She enjoyed flowers and shopping but especially spending time with her grandchildren. Lucille will forever be missed by those who loved her. Magnolia Funeral Home – East is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 pm Monday, September 23, 2024 and from 10 am till service time Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Magnolia Funeral Home East. A Celebration of Lucille’s life will be at 11 am Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel officiated by Bro. Charles Stephenson and Bro Ralph Culp. Interment will follow in Magnolia Gardens. Pallbearers include Chip Reaves, Ronnie Rippy, Larry Jones, Casey Dixon, Randy Amsden. Those left to honor Lucille ’s memory include her husband of 54 years, Buddy Alexander; her sons, Bobby Alexander (Tracy) and Chris Alexander (Mandy); her daughter, Teena Jones (Michael); her grandchildren, Dustin Alexander (Addison), Brooke Leatherwood (Vincent), Macie Alexander, and Carson Alexander; her great grandchildren, Dawson Alexander, Jon Walker Alexander, Jase Leatherwood, Jaden Leatherwood, and Jamison Leatherwood; her brothers, Thomas Moody, Billy Moody (Denise), Ricky Moody, and Sam Moody; her sisters, Janet Lindsey, Jane Milliner (David), and Jean Pratt (Ben); a special friend, Mary Smith; other relatives, and a host of friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Britany Alexander.
