Loyd Dwight Royster, 64, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Saturday, January 25, 1950 in Huntsville, Alabama he was the son of the late Glenard Cecil Royster and the late Wilma Brock Royster. He was preceded in death by parents, two brothers, G.C. Royster, Tony Royster, and two sisters, Patricia Ann Royster and Kathy Sue Royster.
He lived all his life in this area and he loved to work on cars and would always lend a helping hand to anyone.
Surviving are daughter, Sonya (John) Berzett, Athens, AL, brothers; Dale Royster, Athens, AL, Roger (Susan) Royster, Rogersville, AL, Curtis (Connie) Royster, Athens, AL, sister; Deborah (Gene) Gardner of Elkmont, AL.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Hargrove officiating. Burial will be in Legg Town Cemetery in Elkmont, Alabama.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon up until service time at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 30, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
