Lowell Phillip Stephens, age 83 of Hackleburg, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at his home.
He was born May 30, 1941 to Tracey and Unie Stephens. Lowell enjoyed the outdoors and woodworking. He was a hardworking family man who loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Community Church in Hackleburg, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg. Pastor Dustin Atkins will officiate. Pallbearers will be J.J. Michael, Josh Weatherly, Daryl Weatherly, Ronnie Stidham, Cody Ring, and Greg Stidham.
Lowell is survived by his daughters, Tina (Tony) Raper and Beth (Davy) Michael; son, Phillip Stephens; grandchildren, Tiffany (Cody) Ring, Courtney (Jerrod) Staggs, Summer Michael, and J.J. (Julia) Michael; great grandchildren, Tenley Ring, Tyli Ring, Jaxton Staggs, Knoxton Staggs, Braylon Michael, Karalyn Kelly, Buckley Michael, and Colter Michael; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tracey and Unie Stephens; wife, Karen Cork Stephens; sisters, Fayrene Lolley, Wiladean Fincher, Betty McCarley, Alibee Hicks, Helen Ruth Tittle, and Kathleen Cochran; and brother, Junior Stephens.
