Funeral service for Lowell Delain Shelton, 74, of Trinity, will be today at 1 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Charles Williams officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Shelton died on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at his residence. He was born on March 31, 1939, in Lawrence County to the late Lowell P and Annie Shelton. He was retired from Champion.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey L. Shelton; his son, Virgil Shelton; daughter, Cynthia Shelton; four brothers, O.S. Shelton, Royce Shelton, Bud Shelton, and Marty Shelton; three sisters, Reba Bundrick, Beulah Coyne, and Mary Reynolds; and one grandchild, Brandy Shelton.
Pallbearers will be Scott Shelton, Hunter Shelton, Neal Pope, Brien Brown, Benji King, and Shane Williams.
