Lovell Tate Wells

Lovell Tate Wells of Meridianville went to be with the Lord on Saturday.   She was 98.

Mrs. Wells was born, raised, and finished high school in the Monrovia Community.  She was a devoted Christian and a faithful, long-time member of the Meridianville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She and her husband worked together and founded The Pants Barn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carrol David Wells;   Her brother, Lacy Tate; Her brother, Earl Tate.

Surviving family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Randy & Debbie Wells;  her daughter and son-in-law, Robbin & Ronnie White;  her grandchildren: Kevin David White, Lindsey Powers, Nathan Wells, and Tabetha Matthews; Four Great-grandchildren;  her sister, Ruth Patterson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1pm at the funeral home.  There will be a private family entombment following at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
