It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lourdes Delgado Melendez, who departed on June 14, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Born on February 11, 1957, in Ponce, PR, to Mario Delgado and Edith Ana Melendez.
Lourdes was a woman of grace and kindness, embracing her Catholic faith as a source of comfort and strength. She adored her dolls, referring to them as her “babies,” and found joy in constructing elaborate creations with Legos, showcasing her creativity and passion. Lourdes had a deep appreciation for collecting cards, particularly baseball and Pokemon cards, which brought her joy and excitement.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, and her brothers. She is survived by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
Lourdes’ presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
