Louise Stanley Webster, age 87, died Monday, September 9, 2013, in Ponchatoula, LA. At her request, a private graveside service will be held Friday, September 13, with Chad Holder officiating.
Mrs. Webster was born October 30, 1925, in Blocton, Alabama, and spent her early years in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Later she lived in Sheffield, Alabama, Gulfport, Mississippi, Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Mrs. Webster was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sheffield.
Mrs. Webster is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Robert C. Webster, who passed away in 2001. She was also predeceased by her parents, Thomas Tillery and Annie Bancroft Stanley; son, George Stanley Webster; and nephew, Michael David Turner.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Susan Webster; grandsons, Zachary and Alex Stolz; sister, Tommie Ann Turner and husband David; nephews, Samuel Gregory Turner and wife Billie, and James Thomas Turner; and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
