 Graveside services for Louise Sivley Plemmons Bogue will be held Thursday, March 7, 2019. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle, AL. Graveside service will follow at Falkville City Cemetery, Falkville, Alabama.

 

Louise Sivley Plemmons Bogue, 97, passed away on March 4, 2019 in Birmingham, Alabama. Louise was born November 29, 1921 in Falkville, Alabama to Duard Sanford Sivley and Greta Davis Sivley. She spent her working career at Hartselle Hospital where she made many friends. She loved her church, First United Methodist in Hartselle, and her alma mater the Auburn Tigers. Mrs. Bogue, called Mimi and Aunt Nou by her family, was known for her love of family and the many sacrifices she made for them. She loved sewing, doing needlework, and cooking for her family and friends. She taught her family the value of honesty, hard work and faith.

 

Mrs. Bogue is survived by her daughter, Linda Plemmons Haney, and her favorite son-in-law Craig; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Drinkard Plemmons; grandson Ryan Haney and wife Christina of Helena, AL; granddaughter Jennifer Neely and husband Mitchell of Hoover, AL; granddaughter Patty Blair and husband Dennis of Banner Elk, NC; granddaughter Pilar Fotta and husband Tom of Boone, NC; granddaughter Kelly Esquibel of Albuquerque, NM; 3 great-granddaughters, 8 great-grandsons and her devoted caregiver, Jackie Crear Jowers. She was preceded in death by her son, James Austin Plemmons and her sister, Jean Trimm Taylor.
