Louise Salmon Hudson, 71 of Arab passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Diversicare of Arab. Louise was born December 21, 1951 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Babe Salmon and Annabell Gresham Salmon. She worked for Stanley Caplan Educational Services in Birmingham before moving to Arab. She was a member of the Arab Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years: Arthur Hudson, III; son: AJ Hudson; sister: Elenore Salmon; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the John-Rideout’s Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, Alabama, with Brother Nicky James and Brother Bo Shedd officiating. The burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Elmwood Chapel.
