Mrs. Louise Jones Choate departed this life on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitaion Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 6 Months, 7 Days. She was born June 3, 1928 in Rogersville, AL the daughter of the late Clarence Jessie and Mandy Morris Jones. In addition to her parents, Mrs Choate was preceded in death by daughter, Lana Kay Orton, sisters, Dorothy Shaw, Josephine Williams, brothers, Steve Jones and James Jones.
She was united in marriage to Ernest Choate on August 25, 1956.
Mrs. Choate was a retired LPN Nurse, member of the Pope’s Chapel Church and the American Legion Auxillary.
She is survived by her husband Ernest Choate of Waynesboro, TN, grandchildren, Karen Orton, Susan Orton and Diana Orton, great grandchildren, Evan Goolsby, Jessie Orton and Eric Goolsby.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee. Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 12, 5:00-9:00 pm and on Tuesday, Decmeber 13, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
