She was the wife of James (Ed) Davis of Starkville. A lifelong native of Crawford, Lowndes County, she was born October 27th, 1958 to Lois Dean Bell Eaves and Albert Wayne Eaves, Jr. Louise was an employee of the following locations in a career that spanned over 40 years at the following locations in the state: Prentiss County Schools, Neshoba County Schools, East Mississippi Community College, Columbus City Schools, Mississippi University of Women, the University of Mississippi and finally, Mississippi State University.
She was initially a member of Crawford United Methodist Church. She later was affiliated with Philadelphia 1st UMC and finally Starkville 1st UMC.

Visitation is 2:00 until 3:00 PM Saturday, July, 13th 2024, at Starkville 1st United Methodist Church. Welch Funeral Home of Starkville, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her mother Lois Dean Bell Eaves, sons Christopher Davis, (Beth Ann) of Starkville and Eric Davis, (Christine)of Hattiesburg and her grandchildren, James Emmett Davis and Emily Bell Davis of Hattiesburg. Additionally, she leaves her so dearly loved and cared about nieces and nephew, Julianna Murphy, Joseph Murphy, Vaughn Phipps and Sarah Ann Maynard. Louise was preceded in death by her father Albert Wayne Eaves, Jr. and her sister, Laura Dean Eaves Murphy.
Honorary Pallbearers are Joseph Murphy, Justin Maynard, Larry Davis, Tim Horner, Shan Moore, Alberto Davis, Brandon Bell and Logan Bell and Jim Bell. They all are special relatives whom she loved and respected dearly.
A special thanks and appreciation is expressed to all the staff North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS and the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson MS who cared so lovingly in her final days. Physicians Dr. George Abraham and Dr. Noel Hunt led teams that valiantly treated her at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and North Mississippi Medical Center, respectively to the very end.
