Louise Barnes White, 82, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, February 27, 2015, at her residence. She was a member of Sardis Missionary Baptist Church, and worked for 18 years at Genesco Shoe Company until she was disabled. She enjoyed flower gardening, caring for others, and spending time with her family. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 9 PM on Sunday, March 1 at Sardis Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Monday, March 2, 2015, at Sardis Missionary Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Franky Smith. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by 2 sons – Roger Barnes and Michael Lee Barnes, both of Iuka; 4 daughters – Linda Alstadt (Gary) of Iuka; Sandra Richardson (Larry) of Michie, TN; Teresa Hyneman (Gerald) of Corinth; and Daris Barnes of Iuka; 1 brother in law – Robert Vandiver; 3 sister in laws – Liz Parsons, Betty Vandiver, and Gladys Dixon; 5 grandchildren – Melissa Posey (Lee), Tracie Spears, Rodney Cumming, Brandy Muse (Wade), and Miranda Roberson (Tyler); and 9 great grandchildren; and 2 nieces – Ruby Crider (Dennis) and Brenda Carr. She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, George W. Burns; her husband, Charles White; her parents, Wes and Sally Parsons; and her brothers and sisters, Letha Wilson, D.L. Parsons, Arlon Parsons, Ilene Smith, Troy Parsons, James Roy Parsons, Marvin Parsons, Odis Parsons, Joyce Hale, Majell George, Sadie Gentry, and Faye Vescio.
