Funeral service for Louise Abernathy Hargrove, 86, will be Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Lynne Herring, PHD officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hargrove died on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Parkwood Healthcare in Bedford Texas. She was born February 21, 1927, in Limestone County to William Cardwell Abernathy and Dapsie Odell Pike Abernathy. Mrs. Hargrove was retired from the Civil Services as a secretary of the U.S. Army. She was preceded in death by her husband: Billy W. Hargrove on March 14, 1998, a son: Michael Grant Hargrove on March 29, 1998. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers: Eugene, Grady, and James Abernathy and 3 sisters: Elizabeth Sims, Mildred Sanders and Mattie Tribble.
