Louisa Kelly Hollis, 84, Florence, Ala., began her new life on Feb. 19, 2015. She was born in Waynesboro, Tenn., and was the daughter of Leroy and Lydia Kelly. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, and her husband, Noble Hollis. She followed him to his military assignments in multiple places, including three years in France. They were fishing partners for 59 years. Foremost in her life was her faith, family and church, which she missed immensely because of her health limitations.
She is survived by her daughters: Shirley Riley (Dexter), Delores Morrow (Marty), three grandchildren: Damon Riley, Bryan Morris (Lisa), and Lauren Richardson (Corey), and five great-grandchildren: Gabriel and Haley Morrow, Carter, Cole and Claire Richardson.
Her family appreciates the care given by Dr. Hollis and his staff, daily caretakers who became our family, and Hospice of the Shoals aides and nurses. You each enabled us to care for her at home.
Visitation at Greenview Funeral Home, 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22. Service at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at Greenview.
