Louis K. Wheatley, 93, of Ripley passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at his residence. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 PM Thursday evening at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday at First United Methodist Church in Ripley, where he was a member, with interment to follow in Mary’s Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Wheatley was a retired educator and was retired from the United States Air Force. He was a long time member of the Ripley Rotary Club.
The husband of Rena Wheatley, he is survived by a niece Dr. Kimberly Dufau (James) of Ripley, 2 great nieces, a great nephew, and 2 great-great nephews.
