Louis Edward Ellis, Jr., age of 50 of Athens, passed away Wednesday December 7, 2022.
Mr. Ellis was a great person, and a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, son, brother and uncle that loved playing with his grandson and dog. He was well known as a handyman and spent many years as a roofer and in the construction business.
He is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Lisa Ellis; daughter, Cheyenne Dolan; sister, Louise Bradford (James); father and mother, Michael and Marie Lunghofer; grandson; Barry Dolan; niece, Magen Henry; great-nieces, Rayne and Aspen Henry; and his dog-son, Luke.
Preceding him in death are his father, Louis Edward Ellis, Sr.; brother, Lee-Roy Ellis; nephews, Daniel and Matthew Smith; and grandparents: Anthony and Marie Tienda.
His family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date.
