Mr. Louis Chance, age 76 of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, paw paw and brother. He was a member of Scottsboro Holiness Church and loved the Lord and his church.
Mr. Chance is survived by his daughter-n-law, Leslie Chance; brother, Kenny Chance (Pat); grandchildren, Blake Chance (Ashlyn), Allison Chance, Ashley Chance, Brooke Chance, and Corey Chance (Mahaylie); great grandchildren, Beckett Chance, Tucker Chance, Lincoln Chance, Kaylynn Chance and Flynn Chance.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vernia Mae Chance; sons, Robbie Chance and Randy Chance; daughter-n-law, Shirley Chance; parents, Paul & Pearl Chance; brother, George Chance and sister, Paulette Mobley.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Bro. Shirley Byrum, Bro. Jim “Totchie” McLain, and Rev. Michael Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
