Louie R. Pace – Obituary

Louie R. Pace, 93, Russellville, Ala., died December 27, 2014, at her residence.

Mrs. Pace lived all of her life in Franklin County and was a member of First Baptist Church, Russellville. She loved attending Ruth Sunday School Class led by Mrs. Rooks.
She was a devoted wife and mother. Her daughter Tammy was the joy and focus of her life. She was in various clubs and received a Leadership award for economic growth in Franklin County, youth programs, community facilities and service in 1969. She had a gift for cooking and loved to share it with her family and friends.

Funeral service will be Monday, December 29, 2014, 12 noon at First Baptist Church in Russellville with Dr. Gene Balding officiating. Visitation will be prior to service from 11 a.m. until noon at the church. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Survivors include daughter, Tammy L. Pace; sister, Sue Williams (Kenneth); brothers-in-law, Copeland Pace (Reba), Ford Pace (Mary), Gene Pace (Doris); sisters-in-law, Ena Pickens (Gene), Marie Pace; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Keith Williams, Hunter Reed, Blake Reed, Richard Pace, Darrell Pace and Allen Pickens.

She was preceded in death by husband, Wallace N. Pace; children, Wanda June Pace, Wallace Norman Pace, II; parents, Mack and Katie Robinson; siblings, Lelon Robinson, Earlene Sparks and Faye Reed.
