Funeral for Louie Joe Howard, 86, of Decatur will be Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00 am at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lynn Morgan officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 10:00am-11:00am at Shelton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Howard died on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. He was born June 26, 1935, in Giles County, Tennessee, to Irmer Floyd and Julia Bassham Howard. Mr. Howard retired from Monsanto after 36 years, and was a member of Stoney Acres Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Ruth Howard, sisters, Rena Mae McRee, and Hattie Reed, brothers, Avery Howard, and James Howard.
