Louie Christine Weathers, 84, of Tanner, AL passed away Tuesday November 21, 2023 at Kyser’s Place in Huntsville, Al.She was born May 8, 1939 in Mississippi to Louis Swinea and Christine Smith Swinea.
Mrs. Weathers is preceded in death by her parents, husband Julian Weathers, son Joseph Weathers, one brother Robert Franklin Swinea.
She was a member of Clements Baptist. She was a wonderful painter with water colors.
Mrs. Weathers is survived by one son Jonathan Weathers (Michelle) of Athens, Al; one sister Lois Malone (Jimmy) of Tanner, AL; two grandchildren Matthew Compton and Tristen Weathers.
Pallbearers will be Joey Malone, Tim O’Connor, Steve Robinson, Mike Swinea, Brian Jackson, and Brian Nelson.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Elliott Malone.
Visitation will be Monday November 27, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will follow at 3:00P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Joel Schrenk officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
