Lou Beth Parker Evans – Obituary

Lou Beth Parker Evans, 80, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Born in Bivins TX, Mrs. Evans went to school at McLeod School in McLeod, TX and East Texas State College in Commerce, TX. She worked as a teacher at McLeod High School, Oklahoma City Schools and Madison City Schools in Alabama. She retired after 14 years as a real estate agent to enjoy time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lela Mae and Bill Parker, and brothers, Billy Joe Parker and Jimmy Jack Parker.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ross Wayne Evans; children, Liz Evans, Max Evans (Mary Grace), and Amanda Sebastian (Tim); grandchildren, Chris Baker, Dustin Baker, Margie Phillips (Todd), Miles Evans, Mary Beth Sebastian and Caitlyn Sebastian; and great-grandchildren, Marissa Baker and Mason Byrd.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will immediately follow in the chapel with Tom Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
