Lottie Green Lottie Beatrice Green, age 90, resident of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 14th at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.  The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 12:00pm until the 1:00pm service hour at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lottie was born December 27, 1933, in Campbell Station, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Raymond Green and the late Ethel Lou Hobbs Green.  She was a devoted Christian that was baptized and a member of Fountain Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Campbell Station.  She later became a member of Fairview Primitive Baptist Church and always was a church goer until she couldn’t drive.  Lottie worked and retired from Columbia State Community College.  She enjoyed her flowers and was known back in the day for her caramel cake that everyone loved.  Lottie was the matriarch of the family with her being such a strong lady and one that stepped in to take care of anyone who was in need.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Lacy Faye Mitchell of California; sisters, Emma Jo Armstrong of Lynnville, TN and Annie Alma Anderson of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Steve, Janet, Valerie, Sonya, Norma, and Phaedra; three devoted nieces, Paulette (Marcellus) Suddeth of Alabama, Mary (Louis) Booker of Columbia, TN, and Minnie Dale of Columbia; dear friend, Freda (MT) Potts; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brothers, Howard and Hubert Martin; brother, Raymond Green, Jr.; and sisters, Mattie Harris, Nella Armstrong, and Anna Ray.
