Lorrain Burrow – Obituary

Lorrain Burrow of Enville, TN was born March 18, 1925 in Jacks Creek and raised at Milledgeville, TN, the daughter of the late Charlie Chaplin Williams and Susie Laura Hodges Williams. She was united in marriage to Roy Burrow on July 25, 1946. Mr. Burrow preceded her in death in 2001.

Mrs. Burrow was a member of Enville United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star in Sardis, TN. She was a graduate of Chester County High School. She was employed by Salant & Salant in Henderson for 25 years and then worked as the Coca Cola Hostess at Aqua Glass in Adamsville. Mrs. Burrow was an expert seamstress. She loved her family very much and always had a contagious smile that was present right up until her death. She had a great love for her dog, was a nature lover who enjoyed working outside. Mrs. Burrow departed this life on April 14, 2017 at Adamsville Healthcare at the age of 92 Years, 27 Days.

She is survived by a daughter, Frankie Burrow Finley and husband Harold of Enville, TN; a granddaughter, Denisha Finley Herndon and the late Patrick Herndon; a grt-grandson, Parker Herndon; a sister, Priscilla Gilbert and husband Larry of Lexington, TN; a family-in-law, Annie Massengill; a host of extended family and friends as well as staff at Adamsville Healthcare where she received wonderful loving care.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Burrow was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Bishop, Doris Latham, Geraldine Crowell; four brothers, Charles Williams, Cecil Williams, Sanders Williams, Billy Joe Williams.
