Lorien Faye Milligan (affectionately known as “Lori”) transitioned to her heavenly home on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Crestwood Hospital, surrounded by family and loved ones. Lori was born on December 13, 1981 in Germany to Ronald and Cheryl Milligan. Lori was preceded in death by her father Ronald G. Milligan, Veronica Milligan (sister), James and Elizabeth Jenkins (grandparents), Faye Roberts (grandmother) , and Jon A. Chiselom (uncle).
Lori although, gentle and kind in personality to those she encountered, was BOLD in her creativity and passions. Lori’s talents shined bright within her published journal “Healing and Manifesting”, her beautiful personalized jewelry and extensive knowledge of plants. Lori truly had a “green thumb” to life and grew beautiful things every where she went!
Lori is survived by her son: Devyn Brown; her mother: Cheryl Milligan; three siblings: Temersa Jones-Shuman, Michael Franklin, Catherine Milligan; grandfather: Howard Sudduth (Shery); aunts: Gloria Whitten (John), Valerie Sumpter, Evonne Whaley (David Sr.), Antoinette Jefferson (Wayne); uncles: James Chiselom, Jeffery Chiselom (Gladys), and Jerome Chiselom (Lisa), James Jr Jenkins (Caroline), Jerry Jenkins (Debra), Anthony Jenkins (Debbie); one niece: Azarzia Milligan Douglas; two nephews: Jaden Franklin and Michael Franklin II. Also survived by a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, family members, loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Royal Chapel of Memories (4315 Oakwood Avenue NW, Huntsville, AL 35810).
Public viewing will be held from 3.30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 21, 2023, and 8:30 until 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
