Loretta Dean Carney, age 78, of Springfield, Tennessee, died Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the Quality Center for Rehabilitation & Healing in Lebanon.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock pm, Sunday, October 13th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. David Price officiating.
Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 12th, from 2:00-6:00PM and again on Sunday beginning at 1:00PM until the hour of service at 2:00PM.
Mrs. Carney was born on September 22, 1946 in Ashland City, Tennessee to the late Ernest & Goldie Morris Jeannette. She was employed for many years at Acme Boot Co. in Springfield, and afterwards as a CNA (certified nurse’s assistant) in numerous local nursing homes. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Dozier.
Survivors include her husband, Charles A. Carney; sons, Curtis Carney & Todd (Cathy) Carney; grandchildren, Curtis Carney, II., Christan Carney, Kaitlyn Carney, and Hunter Carney.
