Loretta Brothers Whitley passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 in Lee county. She was born September 8, 1938 unto the late John Brother and Hazel Long.
She professed hope in Christ and joined Broadview Baptist Church in Chicago, IL. When she moved to Tupelo, MS she joined Ebernezer M. B. Church and later moved her membership to Mud Creek M. B. Church.
She was united in Holy Wedlock to Alfred Whitley unto this union four children were born.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Michael Brother (Linda), Paul Edward, Beverly Jones, Alfred Jr. (Annie) Whitley and Gregory Bean: sisters, Doris Phillips , Pam & Shelia 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; her dogs MS G and Herculez; three uncles Nathaniel Stone, Henry Long David Anderson.
