Lorene-Hatley-1441566010Funeral services for Ms. Lorene Fesmire Hatley, age 97, are scheduled for 11AM on Wednesday September 9, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Lexington, with Rev. Doug Norfleet and Bro. John Hatley officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Ms. Lorene passed away Sunday September 6, 2015 in Jackson, TN. Born November 25, 1917 in Juno, TN to the late John Newton Fesmire and Ethel Holmes Fesmire, Ms. Lorene was a member of First United Methodist Church, taught school in Henderson County, worked as a teller at Central State Bank, retired as a accountant for the Lexington Electric System after 30 years, also worked part time at the Princess Theatre, taught Sunday School for many years, worked at the Lexington Senior Citizens Center and was a member of the Mrs. Deborah Sunday School Class at the Methodist Church. Survivors include her two sons, Richard Wayne Hatley (Linda) and Bro. John Hatley (Melanie Mathis), three grandchildren; Marc Hatley (Lauren), Andrew Hatley, and Laura (Kenneth) Smith, and three great grandchildren; Gavin, Cooper, and Addison Hatley. In lieu of flowers make donations to the First United Methodist Church.
