Mrs. Lorene Cochran, age 101 of Albertville, passed away at Marshall Manor Nursing Home Sunday, October 24, 2021. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Brother Justin Gallaway officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm til the time of service, burial will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra Gallaway (David); daughter-in-law Paula Cochran; sons Tony Cochran (Wendi), and Doug Cochran (Sandra); sister Marjorie Jones; 13 grandchildren; host of great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Esther Kuykendall; husband Tommie Butler Cochran; son Johnnie Cochran; daughter Betty Ann Cochran; sisters Esther “Boots” Cochran, Ruby Cochran, and Jewel Dean Kuykendall; grandson John Cochran; and granddaughter Gretchen Paige Cochran.
Pallbearers will include John David Gallaway, Jeremiah Gallaway, Justin Gallaway, Jesse Barnes, Brian Cochran. Shannon Paul Allen, Tommy Cochran, Butler Cochran, and Heath Cochran.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The Gideons International, PO Box 1574, Albertville, AL 35950.
