Lorene Bland, age 93 of Arley, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Pine Place Assisted Living.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, June 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Coal City Cemetery. Bro. Ernie Price will officiate.
Mrs. Bland was preceded in death by her Mother-Opal Mae Swindle; Father-Girtis Henderson; Sister-Ruth Henderson; Brothers-Chester Henderson, Bill Henderson and John Henderson; Son-Jerry Bland; Husband-Albert Bland.
She is survived by her Daughter-Geraldine Kitchens (Billy Joe); Son-John Bland (Brenda); Sisters-Pauline Bland, Jean Bass and Ann Geier; Brother-Jim Henderson (Linda); 8 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
