Funeral service for Lora Dean Moore Smith, 68,of Hartselle will be Thursday, May 16, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop John McPeak officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Smith, who died Monday, May 13, 2013, at her residence, was born February 21, 1945, in Morgan County to Wert W. Moore and Betty Mae Johnson Moore. She was formerly employed and retired from CF Flagg as a seamtress. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Jason Pepper of Hartselle, Cameron Westmoreland of Massey and Pat Westmoreland of Wichita, Kan.; four daughters, Vickie W. Szalwinski of Hartselle, Melissa Westmoreland of Addison, Leslie Banks and Stephanie Stallings, both of Hartselle; two sisters, Betty Rackley and Lillie Mae Smallwood, both of Hartselle; 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Rackley, Kyle Rackley, Rocky Will, Stan Holt, John Ross Smith and Willard Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.
